Karen Benam has extensive experience in special education, having worked at the Howard-Suamico School District as a Teacher for Special Education/Elementary since August 2014. Prior to this, Karen served as the Head of the Special Education Department at East High School within the Green Bay Area Public School District from August 1976 to June 2011. Karen's educational foundation includes a Bachelor of Science in Special Education and Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and a Master's degree in Educational, Instructional, and Curriculum Supervision from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Committed to fostering a community of excellence, Karen emphasizes the importance of teaching, outreach, and community support in educational practice.
