Markus Heinimann

Markus Heinimann has extensive experience in the aerospace industry, with roles at companies like Cessna Aircraft Company, Alcoa, Arconic, and Howmet Aerospace. Starting as an Engineering Group Leader at Cessna, they later held positions such as Chief Engineer at Alcoa, Vice President at Arconic, and eventually VP of Technology & Quality at Howmet Aerospace. Markus'sresponsibilities included leading technology strategy, advancing material, process, and manufacturing technologies for aerospace structures, engines, defense, and other high-tech markets. Markus managed global teams, R&D budgets, and identified external research partners.

Markus Heinimann obtained a Ph.D. in Aeronautics & Astronautics from Purdue University in 1997. Prior to that, they attended Gymnasium Bern-Neufeld for their secondary education.
