Anniina Turunen

Anniina Turunen is currently the Partnerships Marketing Manager at Howspace, but they have plenty of experience in the field of marketing and communications. Anniina started their career at Nordic Business Forum as a copywriter and customer service assistant. However, they quickly took on more responsibility and eventually became the Head of Marketing & Communications. In this role, they were responsible for leading the company's marketing and communications operations and team, as well as actively participating in developing their events, products, and company. This included tasks such as creating and executing a marketing and communications strategy, managing a team of marketers, overseeing media relations, handling branding initiatives, producing content (including videos, blogs, news articles, and more), managing community outreach and event communications, as well as running social media accounts and websites. Anniina was also responsible for measuring and monitoring the effectiveness of the company's marketing and communications efforts.

In September 2020, Anniina left Nordic Business Forum to take on the role of Business Communication Designer at Brande Oy. In this role, they helped customers develop their business and brand messaging, as well as how to communicate their mission, vision, and strategy in an impactful way. However, they only held this position for a few months before moving on to their current role at Howspace in January 2021.

Anniina Turunen has a Master of Arts in Organizational Communication & Public Relations from the University of Jyväskylä. Anniina also has a Master of Arts in English Language from the University of Jyväskylä. Anniina is certified from the Keskuskauppakamari (Finland Chamber of Commerce) in the Naisjohtajien mentorointiohjelma.

Their manager is Sanni Juoperi, Head of Marketing. They are on a team with Maija Varjoranta - Digital Marketing Specialist, Meagan Orser - Marketing & Events Coordinator, and Antti Peisa - Technical Growth Enabler.
