Masaki Ota

Masaki Ota is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in global operations and financial planning. Currently serving as the Finance Director of Global Operations at HOYA Surgical Optics since July 2022, Masaki previously held the position of Senior Finance Manager within the same company. Prior to that, Masaki worked at TE Connectivity for twelve years, advancing from FP&A Manager for Japan to FP&A Manager for the Asia Pacific region. Earlier career roles include Senior Pricing Analyst and Head of Pricing at Infiniti Capital, as well as Senior Cost Accountant and FP&A at Shinko Electric Industries Co Ltd. Masaki holds an MBA from the University of Canterbury and a BCom in Accounting and Business Management from Chuo University.
