Cynthia Bright is the DGC & Head of Worldwide Litigation at HP. Cynthia has over 20 years of experience as a litigator.

Cynthia started their career as an associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati, where they worked on IP litigation matters. In January 2003, Cynthia joined Atmel as Senior Litigation Counsel. Cynthia was promoted to Director of Litigation in October 2007. As Director of Litigation, Cynthia managed outside counsel for all types of litigation and related dispute matters, including patent cases, commercial disputes, securities cases, and employment matters. One exemplary matter that Cynthia worked on resulted in a recovery of $43M for the company.

In December 2009, Cynthia left Atmel to join HP as DGC & Head of Worldwide Litigation. In their current role, Cynthia is responsible for managing all aspects of HP’s litigation worldwide, including working with outside counsel, developing and executing litigation strategy, and overseeing budgeting and staffing.

Cynthia Bright received an AB in Government from Georgetown University and went on to earn their JD from Georgetown University Law Center. Cynthia is also certified by HP as an Explorer.
