David Villareal

David Villareal is a Lab Equipment Engineer at HPSP Co., LTD since July 2023, following a role as a Senior Design Capstone Project participant with General Atomics Aeronautical Systems from August 2022 to May 2023. During the capstone project, David focused on transforming a static UAV component display into an interactive GUI-based demonstration that showcases operational functionality. Prior to that, David was an Expert Service Intern at Toray Advanced Composites from September 2018 to March 2021, where experience included handling thermoplastic and thermoset composite materials and performing ASTM tests to adhere to company standards. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from San Diego State University, completed in 2023, and graduated from Ann Sobrato High School in 2018.
