Lauren Walchek, SHRM-CP has been working in the human resources field since 2014. Lauren began their career as an HR Recruiting Intern at Frontier Communications in 2014, where they worked closely with the HR Director and Recruiting Manager and gained exposure to the telecommunications industry. Lauren was involved in meaningful human resources related projects, including providing generalist human resources support to the West Region, assisting with new employee on-boarding, preparing offer packets for new hires, initiating electronic background checks, coordinating travel and interview scheduling, creating and maintaining personnel files, and assisting with reporting using Excel and PowerPoint. Lauren also interned at SkySlope in 2014, where they documented confidential forms for real estate offices, created spreadsheets to show documentation of files, and helped office managers with marketing projects. In 2015, they joined HR for Health, where they have held various roles, including Product Manager, Operations Manager, Client & HR Services Manager, HR Specialist Manager, HR Specialist Lead, and HR Specialist.
Lauren Walchek, SHRM-CP, obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration; Management of Human Resources and Organizational Behavior from California State University-Sacramento in 2015. In July 2016, they obtained the SHRM-CP certification from SHRM.
