Naveen Mallipaddi

Naveen Mallipaddi, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in the field of traffic engineering and transportation planning. Naveen currently holds the position of Traffic Engineer/Transportation Planner at HR Green, Inc. since January 2023.

Prior to this, Naveen worked as a Traffic Engineer Consultant at Quigg Engineering Inc. from January 2021 to December 2022, where they provided their expertise to the Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT).

From May 2019 to July 2021, Naveen served as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Alabama in Huntsville. During this time, they conducted comprehensive research on improving traffic safety on Memorial Parkway Weaving Sections in Huntsville, Alabama. Their responsibilities included analyzing crash data, collecting geometric design and traffic volume data, and using statistical techniques to identify causes and patterns of crashes. Additionally, they also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, teaching transportation engineering, traffic engineering design, surveying, and MicroStation to undergraduate and graduate students.

Naveen Mallipaddi, Ph.D. has a strong educational background in the field of engineering. Naveen completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Transportation Engineering from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they earned their Master of Science (M.S.) in Transportation Engineering from the same university, during the period of 2016 to 2017.

Before pursuing their higher education in the United States, Naveen Mallipaddi obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Civil Engineering from SRM University, which they attended from 2011 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Naveen Mallipaddi has also obtained certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Naveen acquired the "Learning MicroStation CONNECT Edition for General Users" certification from LinkedIn in January 2021 and the "Civil 3D: Basic Roadway Design" certification, also from LinkedIn, in December 2020.
