Valerie Geeraerts

Valerie Geeraerts is an HR Advisor at HR Rail since July 2018, where responsibilities include providing expertise in recruitment, career development, training, employee well-being, payroll management, and legal advice within the Belgian railway sector. Prior to this role, Valerie gained experience as an HR intern at BD from September 2017 to March 2018, focusing on recruitment, supporting HR business partners, and managing various HR projects. Valerie holds a degree as a Career Coach from HRD Academy (2019) and a Master of Science in Psychology with a specialization in Personnel Management and Industrial Psychology from Ghent University (2016-2018). Education also includes studies at IKSO, where Valerie earned an ASO in Humanities (2007-2013).
