Jayla Hart

Jayla Hart is a skilled research analyst at HR&A Advisors since June 2023, with a background in education policy as a K-12 Education Policy Intern at The Century Foundation. From August 2020 to June 2023, Jayla served as an Education Policy Associate at the Center for the Advanced Study of Teaching and Learning, and previously conducted research as a Research Assistant at the Social Cognition and Behavior Lab at the University of Virginia, focusing on intergroup contexts and implicit bias. Jayla's experience in leadership roles at the University of Virginia includes Co-Chair of the Resident Staff Program and Senior Resident, where responsibilities involved designing programming and promoting student wellness. Jayla holds a Master's degree in Public Policy from the University of Virginia Frank Batten School and a Bachelor's degree in Political Psychology from the University of Virginia. An early education in Fashion/Apparel Design culminated in an Advanced Honors Diploma from Southwest Career and Technical Academy.
