Jelena Markovic

Jelena Markovic serves as the Managing Director and CEO of TGW Logistics Ventures, focusing on early-stage investments in European logistics startups since April 2024. In addition, Jelena is a Board Member on the Investment Committees at Austria Wirtschaftsservice, specializing in cleantech and impact startups, as well as deep tech startups for the European Innovation Council. Previous roles include Principal at TecPier, where the focus was on digitization and decarbonization within logistics and supply chains, and Investment Manager at LBBW Venture Capital GmbH, concentrating on software solutions in cleantech and mobility. Jelena has held board positions at various companies, including tado°, 3YOURMIND, Teralytics, and Code Intelligence. Earlier experience includes a Senior Associate role at BayWa r.e. Energy Ventures, contributing to the establishment of the venture capital unit with a focus on renewable energy and e-mobility. Jelena holds a Master of Science in Strategic Business Management from Technische Universität Dresden and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.
