Philipp von Criegern

Philipp von Criegern has a strong and diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Philipp currently serves as the CTO at HRS Group since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Tech Lead & Chief Architect Ecommerce at Otto Group from 2022 to 2022.

The majority of their career was spent at white label eCommerce GmbH, where they held multiple roles as a Co-Founder, CTO, and Advisor from 2012 to 2021. During this time, they were responsible for product development, architecture, and leading cross-functional teams. Philipp successfully launched over 250 online shops and developed a high-performance ecommerce/ticketing platform.

Before that, Philipp von Criegern co-founded and served as the Chief Technology Officer at Luxodo GmbH from 2011 to 2012. Philipp also worked at Bayer Pharmaceuticals as a Technical Program Manager and Solutions Architect from 2008 to 2010, managing agile Scrum teams and developing uniform procedures for website migration projects.

Additionally, they founded Maris Consulting GmbH in 2003 and worked as a Founder until 2010. Philipp was responsible for leading different development teams and providing consulting services.

Earlier in their career, Philipp von Criegern worked at Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG as a Lead Solutions Architect, where they led development teams, implemented ITIL standard processes, and introduced DAM and DMS systems. Philipp also worked at Novartis, Credit Suisse, and BP in different technical and architectural roles.

Philipp von Criegern attended Kiel University from 1993 to 1998, where they studied Mathematics. In 2022, they completed the Oxford Executive Leadership Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Additionally, in the same year, they also pursued the CTO Programme at IE University.
