Ishan Sarkar

Ishan Sarkar has over 16 years of work experience in the financial industry. Ishan started their career at Barclays Capital as a Technical Analyst in 2005. In 2006, they joined UBS AG as a Quantitative Developer and later became an FX and Commodities Structurer, Associate Director. At UBS AG, they were involved in structuring, developing, pricing, and executing structured products across FX and Commodities for UBS WM Clients. In 2015, Ishan moved to Citi, where they held the roles of Vice President in Commodity Sales and Vice President in Structured Solutions Sales. Since 2018, they have been working at HSBC, initially as Senior Director and Head of Structured Products, SEA, and currently as Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets, SEA.

Ishan Sarkar completed their B.Tech degree in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore from 2001 to 2005. Prior to that, they attended Temasek Junior College from 1999 to 2000. In their earlier years, from 1991 to 1998, they studied at MGM.
