Jorge Garcia

Jorge Garcia has over 15 years of work experience in various roles within the financial industry. Jorge started their career as an EMT at Able Transportation in 2007 before transitioning into the IT field as an IT Support Specialist at The College of New Jersey in 2008. In 2009, they had an internship at Merrill Lynch before joining the company as an Analyst in 2010. Jorge then moved to J.P. Morgan as an Associate in 2011 before joining HSBC as an Assistant Vice President in 2014. Jorge worked at HSBC for four years before joining Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. as an Associate Director in 2018. In 2019, Jorge returned to HSBC, this time as a Vice President, and was later promoted to Senior Vice President in 2022.

Jorge Garcia has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration - Finance from The College of New Jersey. Jorge also has a Certificate in Investment Management Theory & Practice from MIT Sloan School of Management. Jorge has passed Level 2 of the CFA Institute. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) from Investments & Wealth Institute.
