Shailesh Jaiswal

Shailesh Jaiswal has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and companies. Shailesh started their career at Britannia Industries Limited in 1997 as an Area Sales Manager. Shailesh then moved on to Citi, where they worked as a Manager- Lombard Lending in Calcutta from 2000 to 2001, and as a Regional Sales Manager- Mortgages in Mumbai from 2001 to 2004. After that, they joined Citibank N.A, London as an Asst. Vice President from 2004 to 2006. Shailesh then joined Barclays Bank Plc as an Associate Director- Private Banking from 2006 to 2008. Currently, they are serving as the Managing Director- Business Head, International at HSBC Private Banking since 2022. Prior to this role, they held various roles at HSBC, including Managing Director - Head of NRI & Asia from 2018 to 2021, Director - Head of NRI & Asia from 2014 to 2018, and Director - Senior Relationship Manager from 2008 to 2014.

Shailesh Jaiswal pursued their education chronologically as follows: from 1983 to 1990, they attended Victoria Boys' School in Kurseong, Darjeeling, where they obtained their ICSE qualification. Shailesh then attended The Air Force School from 1990 to 1992, where they completed their 10+2 with a focus on science. Subsequently, they enrolled at St. Stephen's College in Delhi from 1992 to 1995, where they earned their B.A. Hons degree in Mathematics. Finally, from 1995 to 1997, they attended the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, where they completed an MBA (PGDM) in the field of Finance & Marketing.
