Yang Wang

Yang Wang currently serves as the Head of the Data Science Center and the Head of the Investment Research Center at Huatai Securities Co., Ltd., focusing on the development of systematic capabilities in investment research, quantitative research, investment management, and risk management since September 2019. Previously, Yang Wang held roles at Moody's Investors Service, including Head of the Financial Models Group and Senior Financial Engineer, and at Maritime Capital, LLC as a Quantitative Analyst Intern. An extensive academic background includes a Master's Degree in Mathematics of Finance from Columbia University, a Ph.D. in Physics from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Peking University.
