Ashish Rana

Ashish Rana has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Ashish began their career at Westminster College as a Mathematics and Economics Tutor from October 2007 to May 2011. Ashish then joined Mercantile Exchange Nepal Limited in March 2012, where they worked in Research and Development until August 2012. Rana then transitioned to S&P Global Market Intelligence in an entry-level position as a Quantitative Analyst, where they worked from an unspecified start date in 2014 until March 2016. Ashish was subsequently promoted to Senior Quantitative Analyst from March 2016 to December 2018. From January 2019 to June 2022, Rana served as a Director - Quantitative Research at S&P Global Market Intelligence. Most recently, they joined Citadel Securities in 2022, where they are involved in Data Sourcing and Strategy.

Ashish Rana has a strong educational background in mathematics and economics. Ashish completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Mathematics at Westminster College (MO) from 2007 to 2011. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics and Statistics at The Johns Hopkins University from 2012 to 2014.

In terms of certifications, Ashish obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute in July 2018. Ashish also received additional certifications, including the S&P Global Inventor and CEO Recognition from S&P Global in September 2021 and March 2021, respectively.
