Karina Gurgenova

Karina Gurgenova currently serves as the Head of the Cooperation and Technology Planning Department at Huawei Russian Research Institute, a position held since December 2019. Prior experience includes roles as Technology Planning & Cooperation Manager within Huawei's Cloud & AI Business Group and General Manager for shipit.to in Russia, focusing on cargo loss reduction. Additionally, Karina has played a mentorship role for startups both with WOMEN IN TECH® and the Foundation for Armenian Science and Technology, and has held various positions at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology related to knowledge transfer and research programs. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Environmental and Chemical Engineering from Lodz University of Technology and a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Mendeleyev University of Chemical Technology of Russia.
