Zhiyan Yang

Zhiyan Yang is a seasoned design professional at Huawei, serving as the Design Director of the EMUI platform since April 2005, where responsibilities include design strategy, execution, and quality assessment, reporting directly to the CEO of Huawei Consumer BG. With extensive experience in UI/GUI design, Zhiyan is a committee member on the technical board of Huawei Consumer eXperience Design, recognized as a Level 6 expert in CXD. Prior roles include Senior Manager of the UI Platform Group, UI Design Director for flagship smartphones, Head of the Terminal User Interface Design Department, and founder of the User Experience Research Department. Zhiyan holds an MA in Industrial Design from the University of the Arts London and a BSc in Industrial Design from Zhejiang University.
