Andreas Sila

Andreas Sila has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Andreas began their career at Angehrn Elektro + Telecom as an Electrician from August 2008 to August 2009. Andreas then worked at Alpiq InTec Ost AG as a Team Leader for Electrical Installations from September 2009 to March 2011.

In 2011, they joined HUBER+SUHNER PTY LTD as an Application Engineer and later transitioned into the role of Sales and Application Engineer from April 2011 to June 2016.

Andreas Sila then moved to HUBER+SUHNER and took on various roles, including Market Portfolio Manager from September 2016 to September 2017, Market Manager for Data Center and LAN from October 2017 to January 2021, and Vice President of Market Management for Data Center from January 2021 to February 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President for the Data Center and Fixed Access Network Market at HUBER+SUHNER starting from February 2022.

Andreas Sila earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from ZbW - Zentrum für berufliche Weiterbildung in 2013. Andreas then pursued further education at Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences Switzerland, where they obtained multiple certifications and degrees. In 2017, they completed a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in International Management. The following year, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Management. In 2018, they also earned a CAS in Business Innovation and a CAS in Innovative Management and Development, both from Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences Switzerland. Additionally, Andreas Sila has a certification in Introduction to AI in the Data Center from NVIDIA, which they obtained in 2024.
