Sonja Chocron

Sonja Chocron has extensive experience in environmental health and biosafety, currently serving as the Environmental Health and Biosafety Officer and Privacy Coordinator at the Hubrecht Institute since July 2001. In addition, Sonja holds the position of Senior Research Technician and Lab Manager at the same institution. Since March 2024, Sonja has been a Board Member of the BVF Platform, which focuses on advancing biological safety within the Netherlands. Sonja Chocron's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Applied Science from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and a postbachelor qualification as a Quality Officer from Avans+, complemented by recent training at TSTC.
