Bernard Vanderydt

Bernard Vanderydt is an accomplished leader in software development and project management with extensive experience in frontend development, internationalization, and community management. Since July 2021, Bernard has served as Team Lead for Frontend Development Tooling at HubSpot. Prior to this, Bernard held the position of Technical Team Lead for Internationalization at CoStar Group, where significant achievements included leading the technical internationalization of the CoStar Suite and establishing a localization infrastructure. As a co-founder and Solution Architect Team Lead at SourceMaven, Bernard was instrumental in creating a recruiter-to-recruiter talent exchange. At Hellolingo, Bernard co-founded a language learning community, scaling it to 250,000 members and overseeing a diverse team of freelancers. Bernard's career also includes roles at Rosetta Stone as a Senior Software Developer and Online Community Manager, where contributions ranged from developing learning tools to significantly boosting community engagement. Early in the career, Bernard co-founded SharedTalk, a social network for language exchange.
