Rachita Sundar

Rachita Sundar's work experience begins in 2003 as a Project Engineer at Wipro Technologies, where they implemented system development efforts and provided post-implementation support. In 2007, they served as a Finance Manager Intern at Microsoft, categorizing worldwide marketing spend and implementing new reporting hierarchies to improve data quality.

From 2008 to 2021, Rachita worked in various finance-related roles at Microsoft. Rachita started as a Financial Analysis and Controls Manager, managing global advertising spend and partnering with cross-functional teams to track marketing spend and headcount. Rachita then became a Senior Finance Manager for ROMI, developing frameworks to measure ROI on field marketing spend and identifying opportunities for savings across Microsoft.

Rachita's next role was as the Devices and Services Lead for SMS&P Finance, where they accelerated the shift to cloud and enabled controllers to have conversations with partners about the profitability impact of business model changes. Rachita also developed infrastructure for the cloud business and provided thought leadership on the impact of the shift to cloud.

As a Group Finance Manager for Azure, Rachita enhanced organizational capability by building and leading a strong team and managed a $36B business during a hyper-growth stage. Rachita then became the Director of Finance for Azure, where they managed and drove a $36B business, acted as a trusted advisor to Engineering, Sales, and Marketing leaders, and assisted with financial processes such as strategic planning, forecasting, and sales enablement.

Most recently, Rachita joined HubSpot in 2021 as the Senior Vice President of Finance.

Rachita Sundar (She/ Her/ Hers) pursued their education in a chronological manner. In 1999, they attended Periyar University, where they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Electrical and Electronics, thus obtaining a comprehensive understanding of this field. Rachita then furthered their education by enrolling at Indiana University - Kelley School of Business from 2006 to 2008. During this time, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) with a focus on Finance and Strategy, equipping their with specialized knowledge in these areas.
