Spencer Cain

Spencer Cain has a diverse work background, starting in 2011 as a Customer Support Representative at Railinc Corp. Spencer then moved on to become a Product Support Specialist, focusing on providing IT and information services to the railroad industry. Spencer later became a QA Engineer, ensuring the quality of software releases. In 2015, they took on the role of Business Analyst II, supervising software releases, developing new product ideas, and supporting the product manager in daily activities.

In 2017, Spencer joined the U.S. Department of State as a Management Officer, holding various roles over the years. Spencer managed projects, customer interactions, and product lines, contributing to a $24 million annual revenue suite of software applications. Spencer also gained experience at Booz Allen Hamilton as a Lead Technologist before joining HubSync in 2023 as a Senior Business Analyst.

Spencer Cain completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Supply Chain Management at North Carolina State University from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Supply Chain Management and Operations, also from North Carolina State University, from 2007 to 2011.

In terms of additional certifications, Spencer achieved the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in November 2022. Spencer also obtained the Certified SAFe® 6 Product Owner/Product Manager certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in April 2023. In addition, Spencer holds the Certified ScrumMaster certification from the Scrum Alliance, acquired in July 2016, and the Certified SAFe 5.1 Practitioner certification from Scaled Agile, Inc., earned in May 2022.
