Joanny Ruiz

Joanny Ruiz has over 25 years of experience in early childhood services. They started their career as an Early Head Start Director at Educational Alliance in 1998 and held that role until 2012. From 2012 to 2022, they worked at Sheltering Arms, first as an Early Childhood Center Director and later as the Director of Early Childhood Programs. In 2014, they became a Board Consultant at Dominican Women's Development Center. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Early Childhood Services at Hudson Guild, starting in 2023.

Joanny Ruiz has a Master's degree in Social Work from New York University. Joanny also holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the same institution. Prior to their higher education, Joanny attended The Bronx High School of Science. In addition to their academic achievements, Joanny has obtained certifications such as being a Certified Pre-K CLASS Observer from Teachstone and completing a SEMINAR TRAINING IN FIELD INSTRUCTION (SIFI) at Columbia University's School of Social Work.
