Mary Doherty, MT

Mary Doherty, MS, MT-BC, is an experienced music therapist currently working at Hudson Valley Hospice since 2016, where responsibilities include providing music therapy sessions. Previously, Mary served as a music therapist at Focus Rehabilitation and Nursing from 2014 to 2016, specializing in individual and group sessions for residents in the Memory Care unit. In addition, Mary completed a music therapy internship at Northeast Center for Brain Injury Rehabilitation from 2013 to 2014, focusing on clients with speech rehabilitation and psychosocial needs. Mary holds a Master's degree in Music Therapy from SUNY New Paltz, obtained between 2012 and 2014.
