Cyndi Samples Phr (Cynthia)

Cyndi (Cynthia) Samples PHR, SHRM-CP has over 15 years of progressive experience in Human Resources and Payroll Administration. Cyndi (Cynthia) served as the VP Human Resources at Hughes Federal Credit Union from October 2016 to the present, where they were responsible for various HR functions including payroll, benefits administration, talent management, recruitment, HR policy, and strategic planning. Prior to that, they held the role of HR Manager at Hughes Federal Credit Union from May 2000 to October 2016. Cyndi also worked as an HR Manager at Western National Parks Association from July 1999 to April 2000. Cyndi (Cynthia) began their career as the VP - Human Resources at Saguaro Credit Union, which later merged into DMFCU (now Vantage West Credit Union), where they also served as the VP-Finance.

Cyndi (Cynthia) Samples PHR, SHRM-CP has an education history that includes various institutions and fields of study. Cyndi (Cynthia) attended Canyon Del Oro High School from 1975 to 1979, where they obtained their high school diploma with a focus on General Studies. From 1979 to 1980, Cyndi attended the University of Arizona, majoring in Accounting. Cyndi (Cynthia) then transferred to Pima Community College, where they completed their Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Accounting from 1981 to 1988. Lastly, from 1988 to 1990, Cyndi attended the University of Phoenix, studying Business Administration.

In addition to their education, Cyndi has obtained two certifications. In May 1997, they became a Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) through the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. Later, in September 2015, Cyndi earned the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM.
