David Rubenstein

David Rubenstein is recruiting director at Hughes Marino, an award-winning commercial real estate firm specializing in tenant representation. For the last 15 years, David has been in the recruitment field combining both corporate and search-based experience. David is responsible for the recruitment of their world-class commercial real estate brokers.

After graduating from the University in Arizona with a B.A. in marketing, David began his career in a business development role with IBM. He met his wife and they embarked on an 11-year adventure to New York City where he fortuitously landed in a recruiter and business development role in the Chrysler Building with a boutique search firm, Advantage Resourcing. David spent the next 10 years growing the business and refining his suite of recruitment capabilities and building a team of recruiters to service his clients. Looking to enhance his breadth of skills and join a nationally focused team, he accepted an opportunity in corporate recruiting with PwC–the top consulting firm in the world in their global headquarters. At PwC, David led recruitment for the New York Risk Assurance team–a specialty practice that grew from $50 million to $1.2 billion in revenue in under 10 years.
