Thobani K. Dumakude Ca

Thobani K. Dumakude CA(SA) has a diverse work experience that spans across multiple companies and roles. In 2015, they worked as a Finance Assistant at Hulamin during university holidays. Thobani K. continued this role in 2016, rotating between the Costing Department and Treasury Department. In 2015, they also worked as a Financial Accounting Tutor and in 2016 as a Statistics and Theory of Finance Tutor at Rhodes University.

From 2018 to 2020, Dumakude worked at Deloitte South Africa as an Audit Assistant, where they were involved in auditing various industries and executed audit procedures. Thobani K. later became an Audit Senior Assistant and then an Audit Senior, completing their Chartered Accountant articles under the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.

In 2021, Dumakude joined Hulamin once again, this time as the Acting Financial Controller before becoming the Group Financial Controller. Currently, they serve as the Head of Project Management Office at Hulamin, a position they started in April 2023.

Thobani K. Dumakude CA(SA) began their education journey at Rhodes University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from 2014 to 2016. Thobani K. then went on to complete a Bcom (Hons) in Financial Accounting (CTA) at the same university in 2017. Thobani has focused their studies in the field of Accounting and Finance.

Furthermore, Thobani has obtained additional certifications. In 2018, they successfully completed the Initial Test of Competence at SAICA CA(SA). In 2020, they achieved the Assessment of Professional Competence from the same institution.
