Jody Esselstyn

Jody Esselstyn, MSN, RN, currently serves as the ED peer support mentor at Hull House Real Recovery since August 2023, while also working as a registered nurse at Charlottesville City Schools since May 2016. Additionally, Jody is a community docent at The Fralin Museum of Art at the University of Virginia since September 2016, and previously held the position of health team nurse at AYF - Miniwanca Girls' Camp until September 2022. Jody's experience includes working as a museum educator at VCU Health from February 2017 to May 2020 and as a yoga teacher following a 200-hour Ashtanga-focused teacher training at Ivy Yoga School from August 2019 to April 2020. Jody obtained a Master's Degree in Family Practice Nursing from Yale University School of Nursing (1997-2000) and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Yale College (1989-1993).
