Kara MacDonald

Kara MacDonald has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Kara began their career as a Recruiting Assistant at Palmer Legal Staffing in 2010 and later worked as a Recruiting Coordinator and HR Operations Generalist at LivingSocial from 2011 to 2014. Kara then joined Uber in 2014 as a Recruiting Coordinator and gradually progressed to roles such as Sourcer, Associate Recruiter, and Recruiter, where they played a vital role in hiring and scaling teams across the eastern region. In 2019, Kara took a sabbatical to pursue their passion for animal psychology and worked as a Dog Walker/Daycare Attendant at Walk-A-Pup. Kara joined Reddit, Inc. in 2020 as a Senior Sourcer for Product Management and is currently working at Human Capital as a Principal, Talent.

Kara MacDonald completed their Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Ithaca College from 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended Bridgewater-Raritan High School. In 2021, Kara obtained a certification as a Talent Advisor from Recruiting Toolbox, Inc.
