Caryn Bursey

Caryn Bursey has extensive experience in HR, with a focus on strategic business partnering and organizational development. Caryn has held various leadership roles throughout their career. Currently, they are serving as the Director of People Business Partner for Product, Technology, and Finance at Human Interest. Previously, Caryn worked as the Director of People Business Partner for Product & Technology at Marqeta and as a Lead People Partner for Product & Technology at Rivian. Caryn also served as an HRBP Manager and Project Manager for Technology, G&A, and GTM at Moss Adams. Earlier in their career, they worked at AOL as an HRBP Manager, supporting various business units in Technology. Overall, Caryn has expertise in employee relations, performance management, talent management, organizational development, rewards and recognition, workforce planning, and more.

Caryn Bursey has a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University, obtained between 2004 and 2010. Caryn also holds an Organizational Leadership Best Practices Certification from the same university. Additionally, they have earned the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from HRCI and the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM.
