Michelle Malcolmson

Medical Doctor at Human Longevity

Michelle Malcolmson has worked in the medical field for over 25 years. Michelle began their career in 1995 as a Senior Research Associate II in the Laboratory of Frank Longo, M.D., Ph.D. at UCSF/SFVAMC. In 2000, they joined Fluidigm as the fourth employee and second molecular biologist, where they set up and organized the first laboratories and worked with engineers to develop on-chip assays and applications. In 2005, they became an Independent Biotech Consultant, providing analysis and recommendations to Applied Biosystems and Arrowhead Research in areas spanning cellular biology and molecular diagnostics. Michelle also worked as an Internal Medicine Resident at California Pacific Medical Center. From 2008 to 2009, they were a Physician and Medical Director of Clinical Process Improvement at Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation, and from 2009 to 2017, they were a Physician at Bayspring Medical Group and UCSF Medical Center. In 2022, they began working as a Medical Doctor at Human Longevity, Inc., leading a cutting-edge precision health care program using technology to detect and preempt cancer, cardiac, metabolic, and neurodegenerative diseases.

Michelle Malcolmson attended the University of California, Berkeley, where they earned a B.S. in Molecular Biology and a B.A. in Nutritional Sciences. Michelle then attended the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin U-Med & Science, where they obtained their M.D. degree. Finally, they completed an Internal Medicine Residency at the California Pacific Medical Center from 2005 to 2008.
