Jennifer Pike Bailey

Deputy Director of Government Affairs at Human Rights Campaign

Jennifer Pike Bailey joined the Human Rights Campaign in 2012 and serves as HRC’s Deputy Director of Government Affairs. In this role, she helps lead the federal policy team, which works with Congress and the executive branch to advance legislation and policies vital to the LGBTQ+ community. Her policy portfolio focuses on non-discrimination, education, religious liberty, anti-transgender violence, conversion therapy, justice reform, military and veterans, and voting rights.

Prior to joining HRC, Jennifer worked on Capitol Hill. She has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Indiana University.
