Angela Deane

Angela Deane has extensive experience in development and outreach, currently serving as the Chief Development Officer at Human Rights Watch since January 2013, with a history of ascending roles including Acting Chief Development Officer and Managing Director. Prior positions include Development and Outreach Director at the Global Centre for the Responsibility to Protect and Development Director at the Genocide Intervention Network, Catalyst School Chicago, and the Center for the Homeless. Angela Deane holds a Master's degree in Global Affairs from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Communications and French from Miami University, with additional education at Université Paris-Sorbonne.
