Ashley Pria Persaud

Ashley Pria Persaud, MPA, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in creative coordination and community outreach within nonprofit organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Creative Coordinator at Human Rights Watch since August 2018, Ashley also holds the position of Development Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Taskforce Co-Chair and is a CWA 1180 Union Shop Steward. Previous roles include positions as a New York University Capstone Consultant for Hip Hop Caucus and a Donor Engagement Intern at UNICEF. Ashley's early career includes work as a Community Outreach Specialist at the Center for Popular Democracy and as a Civic Engagement Leader with City Year. Academic credentials include a Master of Public Administration from NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Florida, and an Honors Associate of Arts from Valencia College.
