Brian Peterson, CFP®, CAP® is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in charitable gift and estate planning. Since January 2014, Brian has served as the Senior Director at Human Rights Watch, overseeing charitable initiatives and previously holding roles such as Director of Planned Giving and Interim Mass Marketing Director. Prior to this, Brian worked at Regis High School from July 2005 to October 2013 in various positions, including Director of Planned Giving and Principal Gifts Officer. Earlier career experiences include serving as a Child and Family Therapist at The Harlem Family Institute and a Chaplain at Lenox Hill Hospital. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science from Columbia University, a Master’s Degree from Union Theological Seminary, a Bachelor of Arts from Binghamton University, and a Certificate in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from The Harlem Family Institute.
