Dr. Matthew Boyles

Compliance Lead at Humana

Dr. Matthew Boyles has extensive experience in risk management and compliance. Dr. Matthew started their career at Humana in 2013, where they held various roles including Risk Management Lead and Senior Risk Management Professional. During this time, they developed and implemented policies and procedures, identified and minimized risks, and advised executives on strategic matters. Dr. Boyles also worked at US Army from 2002 to 2013, serving in roles such as Assistant Operations Sergeant and Training Developer/Writer. In these positions, they trained and mentored personnel, managed operations, and maintained equipment and property accountability. Currently, Dr. Boyles is a Compliance Lead at Humana, where they are responsible for researching compliance issues and maintaining relationships with government agencies. In addition, they have received recognition for their contributions to projects and initiatives, including creating a comprehensive dashboard and balancing care and costs for members during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dr. Matthew Boyles has a strong educational background in business and social sciences. Dr. Matthew started their education journey at Central Texas College from 2004 to 2007, where they earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in General Studies. Dr. Matthew then attended Thomas Edison State University from 2007 to 2013, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Social Sciences. Moving forward, they enrolled at the University of Louisville College of Business Graduate Programs from 2013 to 2014 and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration. Lastly, they completed their education at Capella University from 2016 to 2019, where they obtained a Doctor of Business degree specializing in Business Intelligence.
