Ahmad Fakhri Hamzah

Ahmad Fakhri Hamzah is the Senior Partner and Director of Talent Management at HumanCapient Consulting Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Human Capital Development Sdn Bhd).

He holds over 35 years of experience in various appointments that includes offshore upstream operations, refiner engineering and human resource. Ahmad Fakhri is an expert in the field of change management.

Fakhri spent 26 years with Shell, holding multiple roles in HR in the Asia Pacific Middle East Region (APME). He subsequently held the role of Regional HR Manager for an IT organisation in Cyberjaya and was later appointed Regional Learning Operational Manager to oversee the delivery learning programme and stakeholder engagement’s in the region. His capacity as Regional HR Manager provided him with the unique experience of managing a diverse pool of local and expatriate workforce of more than 20 nationalities.

He graduated from California State University with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (1984). He went on to obtain a Masters in Human Sciences (Industrial and Organisational Psychology) from The International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM).

Fakhri is a certified Professional Trainer with specific expertise in human resources management, potential assessment, leadership development, change management and talent management, an accreditation he earned from the Malaysian Institute of Management (MIM). He is also a certified NLP practitioner from ABNLP, USA and is a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM), the highest award to be bestowed by Toastmasters International to a member.

Fakhri has conducted seminars and talks on motivation, change management, work-life balance, youth leadership & communication skills and parenting/fatherhood in various media e.g. TV and radio channels.
