David Poffenberger

David Poffenberger has extensive experience in the logistics industry. David is currently the President & COO of humano LLC, a leading managed workforce solutions provider for the logistics industry. Prior to this, they held the role of Senior Vice President of Operations at Capstone Logistics from 2009 to 2017. Before that, they were the Director of Operations at Weber Distribution from 2007 to 2009 and the Group General Manager at APL Logistics from 2000 to 2007. David also worked as the Director and General Manager at Brightpoint from 1997 to 2000 and as the Distribution Services Manager at Copeland Corporation from 1994 to 1998. David began their career as a Distribution Manager at Dana Corporation in 1978, where they worked until 1994. Throughout their career, David has demonstrated expertise in operations management, client relations, P&L responsibility, employee safety and morale, and lean logistics.

David Poffenberger obtained their Associate's degree in Marketing/Operations Management from Purdue University Fort Wayne in the years 1978 to 1981. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Purdue University, which they completed between 1981 to 1984. Lastly, they obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Hope International University, studying from 2006 to 2008.
