Dougie Kerr

Dougie Kerr has a diverse work experience in various roles related to real-time VFX and computer graphics. Dougie is currently working as the Principal Real-Time VFX Lead at Humanoid Origin since June 2022. Additionally, Dougie owns and manages their own company called Dougie's Device Donation Society, where they handle electrical repair and other responsibilities.

Before these positions, Dougie worked at Phoenix Labs from 2015 to 2022, starting as a Real-Time VFX Artist and progressing to roles such as Associate Art Director, Art Vision Holder, and Real-Time VFX Lead.

Dougie also has experience in teaching and mentoring, having worked as a VFX Instructor at Vancouver Film School from 2013 to 2021. Dougie has also served as an Industry Mentor for Animation & 3D Foundation students.

In previous years, Dougie worked as a Computer Graphics Artist at Echo Entertainment, Douglas Kerr Inc, Klei Entertainment, Capcom Game Studio Vancouver, LA Galaxy, and Los Angeles Kings. These roles involved creating various graphics and animations for television, poker series, and sports teams.
