Principal Artist at Humanoid Origin

Josh Van Zuylen has a solid work experience in the field of art and game development. In 2012, they started their journey as a student at AIE until 2013. Josh then worked as a 3D Artist at Dancing Dinosaur Games from July 2013 to January 2014. Josh then joined Wicked Witch Software as a Lead Environment Artist from January 2014 to January 2016, where they led teams, developed technologies, and created props and environments. After that, they joined Zero Latency as a Lead Environment Artist, contributing to the development of groundbreaking technology and creating captivating games for global audiences from January 2016 to July 2017. Josh then joined Cloud Imperium Games as a Senior Environment Artist from July 2017 to September 2020, after which they were promoted to Principal Environment Artist until August 2022. Currently, they work as a Principal Artist at Humanoid Origin starting from September 2022.

Josh Van Zuylen completed an Advanced Diploma in Game Art and Design from the Academy Of Interactive Entertainment (AIE) in 2012-2013. Prior to that, from 2010 to 2012, they obtained a Cert IV in Printing and Graphics Art from Latrobe design.
