Robert Volek

Robert Volek has extensive work experience in the design industry. Robert currently holds the position of Design Director - OEM Products at Humanscale, a role they started in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Humanscale Healthcare from 2010 to 2022, where they held various roles including Design Director, Product & Strategy Manager, Industrial Design Lead, and Industrial Designer. Before joining Humanscale, Robert owned and served as the Creative Director at Majdnem Kek Studio from 2000 to 2010. Robert also worked as an Industrial Designer at Humanscale from 2008 to 2010, and as a Graphic Design Studio Manager and Lead Graphic Designer at DDB Budapest from 1998 to 2000. Robert's career started as a Graphic Designer at VikArt from 1993 to 1998.

Robert Volek's education history began in 1991 when they attended the Hungarian Journalist Society to study Book and Magazine design, which they completed in 1993. Later, they pursued a degree in industrial design at Pratt Institute from 2007 to 2008. Finally, they attended the University of the Arts London from 2008 to 2010 where they obtained a BA/PD in Product Design.
