Jens Madsen has a diverse work experience spanning various research and academic institutions. Jens is currently working as a Psychology Researcher at Hume AI since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Associate at City University of New York starting from September 2017.

Their earlier experience includes positions at Technical University of Denmark, where they served as a Postdoc from October 2015 to August 2017 and as a PhD Student from December 2011 to October 2015. Jens also worked as a Visiting Researcher at Queen Mary University of London in September 2014.

Jens Madsen began their career as a Research Assistant at Danish Center for Sound Technology in October 2011. Jens also gained industry experience as a Student Help at Bang & Olufsen ICEpower from October 2007 to October 2009 and as a Bachelor Trainee from September 2006 to February 2007.

Prior to their academic and research pursuits, Jens Madsen completed a National Service at Kongens Artilleriregiment from September 2001 to May 2002.

Jens Madsen's education history starts in 2005 when they were a visiting student at RMIT University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and Communication (ITC). Following this, from 2003 to 2006, they attended the Engineering College of Copenhagen, obtaining a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) degree in ITC.

Continuing their academic journey, from 2007 to 2011, Jens enrolled at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, where they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Engineering Acoustics. Finally, from 2011 to 2015, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Machine Learning, also at DTU - Technical University of Denmark.
