Paul Nguyen

Paul Nguyen has extensive experience in tax management and advisory roles. Paul is currently the Group Head of Tax at humm group since August 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Tax at Steadfast Group Limited from May 2020 to July 2021. From December 2016 to December 2019, they held the role of Head of Tax at Patrick Terminals. Before that, they worked at Asciano as a Senior Tax Adviser / Tax Manager from January 2014 to December 2016. Paul also served as a Tax Manager at Charter Hall from May 2011 to December 2013. In addition, they gained experience as a Group Tax Manager at AWAS from 2004 to 2010 and as a Tax Analyst at Deloitte Australia from 2002 to 2004. Paul started their career as an Assistant Accountant at Coca-Cola Amatil in 2001 and briefly worked in insolvency at Hall Chadwick in 1999.

Paul Nguyen completed their Bachelor's degree in Laws / Commerce (Accounting) from Western Sydney University between the years 1996 and 2001. Following this, they pursued a Practical Legal Training degree at The College of Law from 2001 to 2002. Paul then undertook a Masters degree in Law at the University of Sydney from 2002 to 2004. Recently, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General from AGSM @ UNSW Business School between 2016 and 2019.
