Ron DeSantis has a diverse work experience in the culinary industry. Ron served as the Chief Culinary Officer at Hungry Planet® since July 2017, where they worked towards promoting human and planetary health through plant-based meats. Prior to that, they were a Principal Adviser at CulinaryNXT for the same year. From 2011 to 2017, they held the position of Director of Culinary Excellence at Yale University. And from 2005 to 2011, they were the Director at CIA Consulting.
Ron DeSantis received an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts from The Culinary Institute of America, where they studied from 1979 to 1981. Ron further pursued their education at SUNY Empire State College from 2000 to 2002, earning an MBA degree with a focus on Leadership. Additionally, they obtained the certification of ACF Certified Master Chef® (CMC®) from the American Culinary Federation in February 1989.
