Tara Hesson, ACC, has over 26 years of work experience in the field of talent development and learning and development. Tara has held various leadership positions in reputable companies such as Hunt Oil Company, Intuit, Capital One Bank, JP Morgan Chase, Countrywide Financial Corporation, Bank One, and First USA.

At Hunt Oil Company, Tara served as the Director of Talent Development, where they led the design and implementation of talent development strategies across the corporate enterprise. Tara also managed a team responsible for building capability among leaders and professional staff to support business goals. Prior to this role, they were the Manager of Talent Development, overseeing high potential leadership development programs and achieving a high promotion rate for program participants. At Capital One Bank, Tara held the role of Senior Learning Manager and Bank Vice President, leading the Performance Development Team for the Customer Service and Sales division. Tara also led training efforts for the integration of Chevy Chase Bank, resulting in the successful training of over 1000 bankers within a tight timeframe. Additionally, they served as a Training Manager for the Servicing Division, implementing efficient and standardized new hire training programs.

At JP Morgan Chase, Tara was the Vice President Training and Communications Manager, responsible for training and development of mortgage consultants and leading change management initiatives. Tara also developed and implemented a customer awareness strategy to improve service quality.

Tara also gained experience at Countrywide Financial Corporation as a Performance Consultant and Senior Corporate Trainer, where they designed and delivered training programs to address performance gaps and increase team cohesiveness. At Bank One, they held the role of Assistant Vice President Training Manager, overseeing training programs for customer service, customer retention and inbound sales divisions.

In their early career, Tara worked at First USA as a Frontline Manager.

Tara Hesson has a diverse educational background. Tara obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Management from Abilene Christian University in the years 1986 to 1990.
