John Pierce

John Pierce has extensive experience in emergency medical services and education, currently serving as the Paramedic Program Director and EMS Educator at Hartford Hospital since September 2009, while also working as the Education & Training Coordinator at Hunters Ambulance since December 2016. John has contributed as an Adjunct EMS Faculty member at Capital Community College from June 2016 to October 2023 and previously held roles as a Health Technician Paramedic with Health and Human Services CT DMAT and a Test Question Writer at mymedicspot.com. Early career experiences include positions as a Firefighter in multiple departments and as an EMT-I with New Hartford Volunteer Ambulance. John holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Science/Criminal Justice from Charter Oak State College and a Certificate in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician from Goodwin College. Currently enrolled at the University of New Haven, John continues to expand professional expertise in the field.
