Dillon Brown

Lead Data Scientist at Huntington

Dillon Brown, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Data Scientist at Huntington National Bank since December 2022. Prior to this role, Dillon was a Graduate Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology from August 2016 to August 2022, where a project was led to investigate the biomechanical changes in the eye related to myopia, coadvised by Machelle Pardue and Ross Ethier. This research introduced a novel method for measuring the biomechanical properties of biological tissue. Additionally, Dillon worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, developing course materials and leading lectures for the Introduction to Biomechanics course. Earlier experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of South Carolina, where projects involved dielectrophoretic cell sorting microdevices and finite element modeling of vascular responses. Dillon holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of South Carolina Honors College.
