Jeff Bruening

Jeff Bruening is a highly experienced professional in environmental, health, and safety (EHS) management, currently serving as Senior Director of Environmental and Product Safety/Regulatory Compliance at Huntsman Corporation since February 2019. With prior roles at Duke Energy Corporation and Huntsman (Chemical Specialties, LLC), Jeff has developed and implemented EHS programs, maintained compliance with regulatory requirements, and acted as a liaison with government agencies. Jeff's career at Huntsman includes various roles such as Global EHS Coordinator and EHS Manager, where responsibilities encompassed conducting audits, developing training, and overseeing emergency response programs. Jeff holds a Master's degree in Occupational Safety from East Carolina University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Additionally, Jeff has contributed to safety initiatives through board involvement with the Carolina Star Safety Conference.
